By the same token our Democratic leaders understand that this is no time to go backwards on the priorities important to every Marylander. Education, public safety, health care and the environment are essential to everyone’s future and quality of life. We cannot and we will not turn away from the progress that has kept Maryland strong in the face of national developments for generations.”
